Tayler Morgan is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the southern Canadian prairie town of Carman, Manitoba. Tayler began performing at the age of 12 years old, and continued on through many highschool bands before moving to southern Saskatchewan in 2014.

In 2018, after honing his songs and sound, he began touring with Regina rock band Dead Levee. After just 1 year of performing across Western Canada, he found himself joining Dead Levee on bass guitar and backing vocals. The following 2 years of hard touring all of Canada, from PEI to BC. Dead Levee later had a falling out with the former lead singer, promoting Tayler to lead vocals and bass guitar.

Only 3 weeks after being named lead vocalist, Tayler went into the studio to start recording new material under the new band lineup. Later releasing the 2 singles “Shout” and “Love & Misery”, both being featured on Hockey Night in Canada and being performed at the 2022 CFL Labour Day Classic at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium. For their efforts, Dead Levee was nominated for the 2023 Saskatchewan Music’s Rock Artist of The Year.

In early 2024, the band would part ways. This breakup would give Tayler all the reason to move back to his roots in Southern Manitoba and work on his debut as a solo artist.

Tayler is currently recording his debut EP and touring around the prairies throughout the 2024 Summer.

With sound influences like Eddie Vedder, The Black Crowes, and Johnny Cash, during one of Morgan’s sets, you will hear a gritty blend of Rock and Folk, accompanied with a pinch of Country and Bluegrass.
